The BDC Inventory Visibility Network

Background

The rollout of RFID has profound implications for manufacturing companies and their ability to streamline logistics, order fulfillment and the entire demand chain. BDC has developed a Real-time Information Network for Inventory Visibility which provides unique ways to improve Strategic Supplier relations.

This Inventory Visibility network allows multi-location companies to have on-demand visibility to distributed locations, including the facilities of business partners (e.g. VMI scenarios).
